Maureen Husted & Connor Davis

Connor and Maureen first met during their very first week at Appalachian State University in 2020—thanks to a completely random trip to Walmart. Maureen, her roommate Christina, and their friend Jack were walking down the street when they ran into Connor, Lochlan, and Vinnie heading the opposite direction toward Connor’s car. A simple question—“Could you take us to Walmart?”—unknowingly changed the course of all of their lives. They spent the year primarily hanging out together, building relationships that would last far beyond college. Jack and Connor eventually became roommates. Connor joined a fraternity alongside Vinnie and Lochlan, and years later, Lochlan and Christina would find themselves engaged as well. At the time they met, both Connor and Maureen were in their own struggling relationships that were coming to an end around the same time. While there was an unacknowledged interest in one another, there was no instant romance. Over the weeks and months that followed, the friendship developed into a romantic relationship. Now, six years later in 2026, what started as a chance encounter on Hardin Street will become a life together. Connor and Maureen are so excited to celebrate their wedding surrounded by their family and friends who have been part of their story from the very beginning.
